Early Childhood Education
Early childhood education involves everything aimed at educating children from 2 to 12 years old. This includes both school activities from daycare to elementary school, as well as the family and societal context in sports clubs or music schools, that is, everything that contributes to the education of children.
  • Education Begins at Home

School is extremely important for all children; it is where they learn to socialize, to share, and receive their first lessons on how to live with others. However, it is the parents' duty to provide the basics of good education, teaching respect for others and elders, to respect differences and, above all, to provide values that children will carry throughout their lives.

We mainly associate early childhood education with school. In the government's understanding, this education is called preschool and consists of educating children up to 6 years old. Through play and educational activities, cognitive, motor, and physical abilities are exercised and assessed in daycares and preschools, encouraging the knowledge and development of each child.

Early childhood education is the first stage of schooling and prepares and develops children physically, psychologically, and socially for elementary school. Through drawings, paintings, and various activities, letters, numbers, and geometric shapes are introduced, which will be further perfected when literacy begins. The goal has become the semi-literacy of children at this stage, but not all schools support this. In elementary school, the child should develop reading and writing skills and learn calculation methods, alongside computer and arts classes.

The participation of parents, grandparents, and the rest of the family in general is extremely important in children's lives. In addition to family ties having an important social function in children's education, it is at home that they receive the foundation of education, learn what is right and wrong, acquire good manners, and have their interests and talents encouraged. Before in any other environment, early childhood education happens in the family. At home, it is possible to carry out educational activities with children, whether by reading a children's book or having a cooking day.

You can find educational games both online and offline that, besides helping with concentration and child development, can teach the world of letters, numbers, or colors, helping to discover and nurture personal interests. Leisure moments are especially important in children's growth. They can bring about new discoveries through fun while interacting with other people and thus building their social life. Extracurricular activities like music studies or English lessons are helpful to open new horizons and improve children's performance. Sports activities like swimming, ballet, judo, or volleyball not only strengthen health but also provide social integration for children from an early age.
