The Emotional Side of Being a Mother
Being a mother is the dream of many women, as seen by the number of girls who strive intensely to become pregnant. Pregnancy means much more than simply passing on your genes. It is, in fact, the extension of your own body! This fact, and all the challenges until you get there, involve an indispensable emotional side of us women.

The truth is that motherhood is in the blood of most women. Even the culture we receive as little girls is one of giving birth, caring, protecting, and nourishing a child. Who has never played with dolls at least once? These games were the emotional reflection of a future with motherhood. After all, if it weren't for women and their immense maternal instincts, what would happen to future generations?

The magic of motherhood can come early for some women. Some begin their journey as mothers while still in their teens and may skip life stages. This certainly does not prevent many of these young mothers from being wonderful to their babies. Most girls who become mothers are extremely responsible in caring for their babies and handling the daily routines.

On the other hand, there are older mothers who waited for a stable professional life before seeking motherhood. For these women, the race against time is an important factor and also becomes one of the risks associated with this experience. The anxiety that this expectation may cause becomes a villain in the attempts to get pregnant. People say that more mature women tend to be calmer and more patient mothers, since the hurry and urgency of youth have given way to serenity and life experience.

There are cases where being a mother brings more than an extreme and true love. It becomes a real life lesson. Mothers of special needs children are real warriors and with strength and dignity care for their children with all the patience, dedication, and love in the world. Being a mother in these situations, in addition to all the intense emotion, ends up being a journey where learning is present every day of this woman's life.

Women who fought so hard for this moment to arrive in their lives value motherhood deeply. Women who faced serious problems to achieve pregnancy. Procedures, exams, and repeated frustrations may even make a couple give up the idea of having a child. But the heart always speaks louder. Endometriosis, polycystic ovaries, fibroids, malformations, anovulation, and other problems will not make this woman give up dreaming of being a mother. Medical techniques help these women every day who are facing some type of problem. Whether more easily or with much struggle, in the end, it is always possible for motherhood to arrive for such a couple.

There are also moms who chose to love that child. These are the adoptive mothers who make another woman's biological child their reason for living. These mothers at heart love just as intensely as mothers who bear their own babies. The only difference is the way this child came into their lives. They arrived through the heart, and for that, they are mothers worthy of applause and respect.

The fear of being a mother is part of life. But when children arrive, strength comes with them. A woman becomes a lioness and protects her child fiercely. Children are divine gifts that all women receive, cherish, love, and care for. Being scared is natural, but you must not be distressed, because fear compared to maternal love becomes very small and insignificant.

Motherhood may not be the top priority for many. But with time, this call of nature eventually happens, and finally, the space that was empty and often unnoticed is filled with love, affection, joy, and so many other sentimental rewards that a mother gains from having her children. Being a mother is something that transcends the body—it's a mark that stays on the soul forever.
