History
The clinic was inaugurated in 2002, in the city of Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul (RS). In recent years, it has expanded its infrastructure and, over its existence, as reported, it has already helped more than 1,400 couples in their journey to have children.
The directors, Dr. Fábio Firmach Pasqualotto and Dr. Eleonora Bedin Pasqualotto, completed their specialization in 1999 and then began working in the field of human reproduction. The clinic in Caxias do Sul serves various cities in the region and also has two partner branches: one in Porto Alegre and another in Chapecó.
About the medical staff
In Caxias do Sul, the clinic is coordinated by Dr. Fábio Firmach Pasqualotto and Dr. Eleonora Bedin Pasqualotto. In Chapecó, besides Dr. Fábio, who sees cases of male infertility, the branch is coordinated by Dr. Simone Backes. In Porto Alegre, the clinic operates in partnership with Clínica Bedin and also benefits from the consultancy of Dr. Fábio.
Since the causes of infertility can even be psychological, the Conception team is multidisciplinary: there are four gynecologists, one urologist, one endocrinologist, and two psychologists and sexologists.
The clinic has a technical and scientific exchange with the Center for Advanced Research in Human Reproduction Infertility and Sexual Function and also with the American Center for Reproductive Medicine.
About costs and treatments
The costs vary depending on the treatment and the profile of each patient. However, on average, the cost to freeze eggs is from R$10,000 to R$12,000. This amount only includes the initial process for the procedure. To keep the eggs frozen, the cost is about R$150 per month. An in vitro fertilization at Conception is around R$8,000.
