History
Afeto Clinic was founded in 2016 by doctors Juliana Cotrim and Taynara Soares. In 2021, the clinic, located in the The Square building, underwent an expansion and added two more rooms to its physical space. Over the years, it has served hundreds of families from Alagoas.
Today, under the name Humana Medicina Reprodutiva, the clinic provides assisted reproduction treatments, ultrasound exams, andrology services (semen analysis and sperm DNA fragmentation), and fertility investigation exams.
The clinic also offers specialties in obstetrics, plastic surgery, and rejuvenation, and is part of the Latin American Network of Assisted Reproduction (RedLara).
About the medical staff
In addition to the founding doctors, Drs. Juliana Cotrim and Taynara Soares, the clinic has a team of 12 professionals: Dr. Isabela Agra, who works in fetal medicine; Drs. Gabriela Rocha and Grace Monteiro, who work in gynecology and obstetrics; Drs. Luciana França and Èrica Rezende, who work in general ultrasound; Drs. Wanessa dos Anjos and Priscila Lobo, who work in fetal echocardiogram; Dr. Francisca Beltrão, who works in mastology; Dr. Thiago Negris, who works in urology and andrology; Dr. Mônica Assunção, who works in nutrition; and Drs. Giselli Calheiros and Lara Novaes, who work in physiotherapy.
About costs and treatments
Prices will depend on the type of treatment, but in general, an IVF at Afeto Clinic can be done starting from R$25,000, excluding medication and exams, and a consultation can be scheduled from R$600, with follow-up included.
