I’m starting a series on various topics relevant to moms! These are products and brands that make a mom’s daily life easier and better quality. In this series, there will also be a space for you to share your opinions, leave your impressions, and recommend products in the questionnaire that will be available to fill out. These opinions can make all the difference for those entering motherhood for the first time or who have never used the product. (Note: the Results of the Poll are out! You can see them Here)

Let’s Get Started!

So, inspired by the name of the blog, how about we talk about disposable diapers? Anyone who is a mom or dad certainly knows the importance of disposable diapers on a daily basis, and for every mom, a different factor is the most important when it comes to diapers. Whether it’s quality, brand, absorption and efficiency, comfort… it’s all relative, so to really get started let’s talk about the occasions when diapers can be used and which brands are ideal for them.

As a conscious mom who has a monthly budget to manage, I use different types of diapers at the same time: one brand for staying at home, another to go out, and another for nighttime. I believe this strategy helps save money and also gives you the chance to try different brands, so you can figure out which is best for a specific occasion or in general.

Pampers Diapers

There are several variations, and I personally use Pampers diapers in different versions: Supersec for staying home during the day, Pampers Total Confort for nighttime and outings.

Turma da Mônica Diapers

Turma da Mônica diapers are really good, but the best ones, which are the Huggies, I save for outings. Huggies Soft Touch diapers are very soft and also held up best when it came to pee. The Turma da Mônica Triple Protection diaper is great for daily use at home.

Pompom Diapers

These are my favorites in terms of cost-benefit. I really like them mainly because of the price and because they hold up well to all the cups of juice that Mel drinks throughout the day. Among PomPom diapers, there are variations like Protek Baby, Top Confort, and Nighttime.

Natural Baby, Baby Roger, and Sapeka Diapers

These are the more affordable options for disposable diapers. For everyday use at home, they hold up quite well, and when the budget is tighter, they are a great fit. I just don’t use these diapers much when going out, because accidents can happen—like the child’s clothes getting wet, and sometimes mine and even the car seat too. Haha
