Origin and Use of the Nosefrida?

Developed and imported from Sweden, the Nosefrida nasal aspirator was designed for greater effectiveness and with your baby’s comfort in mind. It can be used on newborns and even premature babies without risk of causing harm, providing immediate relief from nasal congestion for babies.

In addition to cleaning, its function brings better quality sleep for the baby and makes feeding easier, even on days when they have a bad cold. Made from safe, hypoallergenic materials, the Nosefrida nasal aspirator is made of polypropylene, BPA, and phthalate, which ensure the greatest possible durability.

While the first impression might be concern or disgust due to the fear of the parent sucking, swallowing, or coming into contact with the nasal mucus, clinical studies certify that the filter used in the Nosefrida nasal aspirator tube prevents the passage of any mucus and even the transfer of bacteria to the person doing the suction. The product also comes with 4 filters, with 1 already placed inside the tube and 3 extras. You can also buy a refill kit of 20 units separately.

Thanks to the importer Babydeas, there is no longer a need to travel abroad to buy the nasal aspirator most recommended by pediatricians and that has become a hit among mothers worldwide. Please note that the Nosefrida nasal aspirator must not be used for any purpose other than clearing nasal congestion and should be carefully stored around children, as it contains small parts that can be easily swallowed. It is recommended to keep it out of reach of children under 3 years old.

How to Use the Nasal Aspirator

The Nosefrida nasal aspirator has a small tube that should be placed at the entrance of the baby’s nostril without needing to insert it like other models of nasal decongestants. Between the tube and the end that will be suctioned by the parent, there is a small filter that blocks the passage of any mucus secretion. The end with the red mouthpiece should be placed in the mouth to suck the mucus, so it remains inside the tube.

If you have trouble suctioning the mucus with the nasal aspirator or if it is too dry, you can use saline solution to soften it and remove it more easily with the nasal aspirator. The procedure should be done in both nostrils to ensure the nose is completely clean and free from blockages.

Nosefrida Hygiene

Cleaning the Nosefrida nasal aspirator is quick and simple. All the parts must be disassembled after use and the used filter discarded in the trash. The tube that comes into contact with the baby’s nose must be washed with hot water and soap, while the tube where the mouthpiece is inserted should be cleaned with alcohol and water at room temperature.

I had already heard about the nasal aspirator from a friend who traveled abroad and brought one for her baby. I was happy to find it on a Brazilian website! I thought the price was high, but since it made payments easier, it was worth it! No doubt, it’s the best nasal aspirator for babies and it doesn’t bother them so much during cleaning time.

I believe it’s one of the best inventions for babies! The first time I saw a friend use it, I thought it was a bit gross and imagined the mother was sucking up the nasal mucus. After researching, I learned about the function of the filter and decided to try it with my daughter and I just loved it! I never go without extra filters now and I always carry the nasal aspirator in my bag. Highly recommend, it’s worth every cent.

My baby had a really strong cold and bedtime was a true struggle. Since he is very little and doesn’t know how to blow his nose, I tried a few types of suction bulbs but they made him even more distressed. The pediatrician recommended the Nosefrida and I found it on this site! I thought the price was steep but bought it because it seemed less aggressive than the suction bulbs and I loved how it worked. It doesn’t hurt the baby’s nose and I was able to remove the nasal secretion without making him agitated.
