History
Clínica VidaBemVinda was founded in 2011 from the idea of a group of doctors from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of São Paulo (USP). Since its foundation, the group’s purpose was to create a new model of fertility clinic. The goal was to strike a balance between science and humanity, modernity and simplicity, and complex procedures with quality.
Since it was born from the initiative of USP health professionals, Clínica VidaBemVinda bears a label called “USP DNA”. This insignia was created to indicate companies that are in some way linked to the University of São Paulo, thus highlighting the important contribution of the members of this public education institution to Brazil.
About the medical staff
The medical staff also includes doctors trained at Santa Casa, ABC, and State University of Campinas (Unicamp), with experience in Reproductive Medicine and affiliated with several educational and research institutions, such as the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp).
According to Clínica VidaBemVinda, one of its purposes is a focus on reproductive medicine, without neglecting the comprehensive care of women’s and men’s health, as well as overall fertility preservation.
About costs and treatments
Clínica VidaBemVinda makes it a point to offer lower costs for treatments. To achieve this, they say they opt for more practical and efficient service, with an organized structure and all the necessary equipment.
The Clinic also emphasizes having partnerships with reference laboratories in the field, which results in lower costs for patients, without compromising quality. Another factor mentioned is that, thanks to careful management regarding resources and equipment, final costs for patients are reduced.

Social Project
In the Solidarity Egg Freezing Project, women undergoing Egg Freezing treatment can choose to donate part of their collected eggs to another woman who is unable to get pregnant with her own gametes. With this donation, part of the treatment cost is shared and covered by the recipient, and the anonymity of both parties in the donation is mandatory. It is important to note that not every woman can be a donor and all criteria for Egg Donation inclusion must be met.
Website quality
The Clinic’s website provides a wide range of content, with free e-books; classes on human reproduction (from scientific meetings and similar events); videos featuring doctors (explaining popular topics such as ovarian reserve and folic acid during pregnancy); instructional videos on how to handle and administer medicines (such as Menopur and Lupron, for example, which are used in techniques like In Vitro Fertilization).
The Clinic in the Media
Plural Parentings: VidaBemVinda starts a group for free guidance to LGBTQIA+ parents
“The group aims to be a rich space for the discussion of other concepts of parenting, both from the adoption paradigm, which involves the logic of social bonds, and from family structures that are not based on cisheteronormativity or genetic and biological destiny.”
Jornal Dia a Dia, 2022
Sensitivity and extra services humanize (and bring glamour to) the assisted reproduction market
“We have a staff ready to give advice on hotels and restaurants near the clinic, which makes life much easier for patients from out of town,” says Dr. Oscar, whose clinic has a partnership with a network of luxury restaurants and hotels in São Paulo.”

Clínica VidaBemVinda and the support network “Nós Tentantes Projeto de Vida” promote action to benefit a couple seeking to have a child through In Vitro Fertilization
“The Assisted Reproduction Clinic VidaBemVinda (VBV) carries out the Ninho Solidário project – which is the social arm of “Nós Tentantes, Projeto de Vida” – and will help a couple seeking to have a child, but who do not have the financial means to pay for in vitro fertilization (IVF).”
Gazeta da Semana, 2021
Number of in vitro fertilizations more than doubles in Brazil in four years
“Women between 35 and 40 years old, career-established, most of them married, are the main audience for fertility clinics. […] “The heterosexual couple is still the majority. However, we are increasingly seeing a rise in demand from same-sex couples.”
“That was the case for Marina and Cecília, who went to the VidaBemVinda clinic in the capital city. With donor sperm, in September 2012, Marina started taking ovulation induction medication two months before the implantation, which took place in August 2013. But it did not work.”
